Seattle JazzED’s Commitment to Health and Safety in Our Programs
We will continue to minimize the spread of COVID-19 by acting responsibly and following local, state, national and industry guidelines to conduct activities safely within our working and teaching spaces. We are dedicated to creating a safe environment for our students, families, educators, and administrative staff as we welcome you to our programs and events.
Health and Safety Protocols
Currently, we are implementing the following protocols for students participating in programming:
We are not currently requiring proof of vaccination for COVID-19.
Masking is encouraged, but not required for classes and events.
We kindly ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell. While our refund policy does not permit refunds or rescheduling for illness, your health and safety are our top priorities. For detailed information, please refer to our official Seattle JazzED Refund Policy. Together, we can keep everyone safe.
Protection from Respiratory Illness
Take actions to help manage the spread of respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, and keep each other safe.
If you feel sick, stay home
Wash your hands frequently
Keep hands away from your face
If you test positive for COVID-19, please notify us at programs@seattlejazzed.org, and self-isolate at home for five full days
Please note: We will regularly review the guidance of the Seattle & King County Public Health, the Washington State Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and we ask that you do the same. As new information comes in from them, we will be updating the impact to our programs and events. We reserve the right to change our current policies at any time for the health and safety of our community. We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.
