On Saturday, October 9, Seattle JazzED will be opening the doors to new and returning students for an Open House event from 11 am – 6 pm. Youth are invited to the MLK Fame Community Center to meet with educators, connect with peers, and experience jazz education in action. There will be free pizza for all students and raffle for prizes! RSVP are encouraged via the link here.
Registration is still underway for fall programming. Not sure if a program is right for you or your student? No worries! Young people are encouraged to attend the Open House even if they aren’t enrolled to get a feel for the JazzED way. Staff will be onsite to answer questions and support registration if needed.
This event is open to community youth in grades 4 – 8.
