Foundations Unit: G Jam Blues
- Originally “C-Jam Blues” by Duke Ellington and Barney Bigard recorded in 1942 is also known as “Duke’s Place.” This version is #transposed to accommodate a combined beginning string, woodwind, brass ensemble. The tune will serve as vehicle to explore jazz's signature features including blues, improvisation, and swing.
